Thanksgiving in Mexico!

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!!!!! I spent my thanksgiving coughing and sniffling because I caught a cold... oh and my thanksgiving dinner was crackers and tuna!!! Hahah Thanksgiving isn't really celebrated in Mexico... but it's fine because the rest of the week was good (besides being a bit sick of course).

A member invited us over for breakfast last Monday so we enjoyed a nice p-day breakfast!

These past two weeks have been pretty crazy because of the weather, it dropped down to 55 degrees here and everyone was freezing for a couple of days. The rest of the days its been hot or super windy, so I think that's why I got sick. But it's fine cause the work continues!

Wednesday was Zone Conference and the focus was on the basics because there are so many new missionaries that have arrived and that are arriving. There were a few stations and we rotated through them learning about a basic principle in every station. It was interactive with a lot of practices so it was really fun! They always give us Costco pizza as well after the zone conference so that was also a big plus.
Zone Conference Selfies!

Sunday my companion, one of the sister missionaries, and I gave talks in Sacrament Meeting. I talked about the Book of Mormon and how this month of December is a great time to gift copies of the Book of Mormon to friends. My comp talked about his conversion to the gospel and how it changed him and it went really well, especially because we didn't prepare anything haha. Sunday was the fireside with President Palmer in the chapel next to the temple with the recent converts and investigators. It was my companion's turn to lead the fireside so we got there early to help set up and to finish up the program. The firesides are always fun cause we get to see a lot of the missionaries in the port.

Tomorrow is transfers! But Castro and I are staying together! We´re pretty happy because there is a lot of work to do in Magisterio and were excited to Light Up December! Hope you all have a great week!
